Journal of Educational, Health, and Community Psychology (JEHCP) published an article, and empirical study that have originality, novelty and fill the gap of knowledge, that focused on educational psychology, health psychology and community psychology. JEHCP is an open access peer reviewed, multidisciplinary journal that publishes quality studies related to psychology. JEHCP is interdisciplinary in approach, and includes to reports of qualitative case studies, quantitative experiments and surveys, mixed method studies, action researches, meta-analyses, and discussions of conceptual and methodological issues. The field of educational psychology includes the effectiveness of educational interventions, the psychology of teaching, and the social psychology of schools as organizations, motor skills and other psycho-physiological processes; cognitive development involving areas such as problem solving, language acquisition; social, personality, and emotional development; self-concept and identity formation. The field of Health Psychology includes the stress-related ilnesses, the health coping strategy, resiliency, work on health attitudes and behaviour, health locus of control, quality of life in chronic disease, influence of emotion on health and health-related behaviours, psychological interventions in health and disease as well as psychological aspects of prevention. The field of Community Psychology includes research, evaluation, assessment and intervention, and review articles that deal with human behavior in community settings. Articles of interest include descriptions and evaluations of service programs and projects, studies of youth, parenting, and family development, methodology and design for work in the community, the interaction of groups in the larger community, and criminals and corrections.

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of current literature review is to identify the association between stress, physical exercise, and mental health among athlete. The outcomes of this investigation reveal stress and physical exercise have crucial role on the level of mental health; they likewise can impact on mental health positively and negatively. As well, this study focused on mental health as a main factor among athlete that increase the level of their activities in sports fields. Moreover, lack of attention to this main factor that influenced via stress and physical exercise appeared various results. Therefore, the current paper supports athletes requirements based on two main factors stress and physical exercise to accomplish mental health. Keyword:  Athlete, mental health, physical exercise, stress.

Abstract

Abstract Cooperation is one of the main factors amongst nomadic tribes that caused of their unity and growth; also, it has been determined their life style. Furthermore, the goal of the current literature review was to explain the role of cooperation amongst people of tribes in Ivan Kalhor, Iran; also, illustrated the importance of this humanity factor in views of various famous scientists in the world that determined based on qualitative method. Lack of consideration to some factors such as cooperation in this kind of societies creates the different type of problems, and it can be harmful to nomadic tribes; additionally, it can decrease this population. In another word, the existence of cooperation as one of the principle human needs can advance and support activity and relation of people in tribes and conduct their activity in the correct way. Overall, this literature review that organized by qualitative method (observation and interview) considered to the vital role of cooperation at nomadic tribes in Iran especially in Ivan Kalhor area, and likewise, described its effectiveness on people relationships. Keyword: Nomadic Tribes, Cooperation, Ivan Kalhor, Iran

Abstract

Abstract  Diarrhea is the biggest cause of infant and child death in Indonesia. In 2013, Indonesian Ministry of Health stated that children diarrhea incidence was still high and rated as public health problem accounting for 6.7 per cent. Two of five provinces with the highest incidence of infant diarrhea in Indonesia was located in the island of Java, even though Java has the biggest achievement in infant and child healthcare coverage as well as the physical quality of drinking water and improved sanitation over the national. Based on these facts, the purpose of this study was to identify risk factors that affect the incidence of children diarrhea in Java 2013. Binary logistic regression was used to statistical analysis with incidence of children diarrhea as response variable while the explanatory variables are age, nutritional status, level maternal education, maternal age, maternal behavior of washing hands, access to sources of drinking water, access to sanitation facilities and household density. The source of data was Riskesdas 2013. The results of this study showed that all the explanatory variables: age, nutritional status, maternal education level, maternal age, maternal behavior of washing hands, access to sources of drinking water, access to sanitation facilities and household density significantly affect the incidence of children diarrhea. Keywords: children diarrhea, binary logistic regression, Riskesdas 2013.

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this study is to investigate the differences of job stress based on gender among correctional officers in three prisons in Java Indonesia. This study was a quantitative survey study focused on the comparison between male and female. The data were collected from 95 correctional officers from Bandung and Semarang prisons. The analysis of variance test (ANOVA) was used to test the study hypotheses. The results show that gender variable has influences on job stress, in which female correctional officers have higher job stress level than male correctional officers. Keywords: gender, job stress, correctional officers

Abstract

Abstract This study was to identify the role of technical and vocational training in entrepreneurship development and business skills in the main office of B. province technical and vocational training. The corelational study was conducted. The population consisted of 1500 apprentices among which 420 persons were randomly selected according to Cochran formula based on a systematic sampling method. Data is gathered via a researcher-structured questionnaire containing 35 items based on Likert scale. Content validity and Cronbach’S Alpha (α=/94) are used. The data was analysed using SPSS software. The descriptive and inferential statistics are also used to examined the hypotheses.  The  result showed that there was a significant relationship between technical and vocational training and dimensions of entrepreneurship in the apprentices that includes: technical and vocational training, knowledge and technical ability, success seeking. Key Words: entrepreneurship, creativity, business skills, technical and vocational training
